In an effort to raise the vibration of the Feminine, my workshops are women-only. I would love to hear about similar offerings out there for men-only groups and welcome your questions about my decision to offer my workshops only to women at this time. It is my sincere hope that every person find appropriate and empowering expressions of their creativity regardless of gender. ♥

Weekly Writing Practice with Rhea

You have stories inside of you. So what keeps you from writing? Your hectic schedule, an uncertain world, or those bothersome personal fears may tell you to just forget about it. Its not worth it. Just ignore the tug of memory, the pull of your imagination. But maybe the story is what really matters.
Now is the perfect time to break out and explore your voice. I use interesting and imaginative writing prompts to kick start your stories, poems, rants, and remembrances. Get fresh perspective and open new doors into that delicious mind of yours. Each session together includes opportunities to share your writing without that inner-critic getting in the way and to receive positive feedback from fellow writers.
All experience levels and genres welcome.

Inner Fire: Autumn Equinox
A writing and spirit workshop

Time to turn inward on the wheel of the year. The Autumn Equinox ushers in a season of introspection and reflection. In this afternoon workshop, we will use guided meditations, powerful myth and personal writing to connect to the energy of harvest and to recognize the gifts of the ancestors. At this point of balance between dark and light, we are called to release, let go and purify our lives for the coming of the winter. Return to your center and listen to the still wisdom that resides within you. This work grows from earth-based spiritual traditions, but is open to anyone with the desire to learn more about themselves and their personal power. Inner Fire workshops help you call in the unique stories of your life and take part in the transformation happening all over the planet.
No previous experience necessary.

Inner Fire workshops are offered seasonally near the equinoxes and solstices. Using meditation, storytelling and guided writing exercises, this series seeks to connect people more fully with the energy of each season in order to imbue our daily lives with magic and purpose. Inner Fire workshops urge us toward discovering our inherent creativity, our wholeness, and an expanded sense of self.

Who is the Goddess?
In this weekend retreat, we will take time to explore this question in depth. Through a variety of experiences using personal writing, ritual, craft-making, lecture, meditation and much more you will gain solid tools to recognize and connect to the power of the Divine Feminine within you.
At this critical time, we need to summon all of our resources to turn the tides. Throughout human history, there have been peoples scattered across the world who lived with respect for the Divine Feminine and the living Earth. In some of these cultures the Great Goddess was revered as a source of potency and renewal. As we answer the call to participate in the great shift happening around the planet today, we need to access our compassion, our sense of justice, our deep love of life and our courage to change. This retreat will help you do just that.
